Hi, I’m Grace.
Back in 2023 I was laid off from a job that I loved, so I decided to take the plunge and start freelancing full-time. I’ve been freelance writing, designing, and editing since 2016, working with some amazing companies and publications along the way. From designing a cover spread for Washington City Paper’s food issue to curating Black Friday deals at Apartment Therapy, I have a wide breadth of experience — but I’m always excited to learn new things.
I’ve covered everything from tech services to local weddings, but some of my favorite niches include beauty, wellness, home, and travel. Whether you need an experienced content writer for your company or you’re looking for a go-getter commerce writer to tackle ad hoc assignments, I’m ready when you are.
I grew up in the Washington, DC area, attended college at the University of Pittsburgh, and got a master’s degree in Data Journalism from the University of Missouri. When I’m not working, I’m trying new recipes, heading to a fitness class, caring for my exponentially growing plant collection, or exploring my home base of northern Colorado. I’ve also got an Etsy shop full of doodles from my travels.
If you’d like to work together or hear more about my experience, let’s chat!
